Nu-killer Deal
In spite of rejecting the CTBT accord and not sign any non-proliferation treaties, India managed to lobby civilian nuclear technology from America. One might wonder how? Well its easy, they did absolutely nothing!
India and China are increasingly stressing the oil resources across the world by consuming more than ever in efforts to produce cheap manufactured goods, and big daddy does not like the idea of sharing the ever precious O.I.L. Aside from the usual spin i.e. 'India needs clean energy', 'lowering pollution', 'democracy?', 'partners in the war on terror' etc., Americans rather India acquire 'state of the art' nuclear technology, than buy oil (from Iran, who as a matter of fact are pursuing nuclear technology of their own). What a deal.
